2020 Vision A district in which education is seen as a pathway to prosperity, where young people get the best start in life, but where lifelong learning is also cherished.

The priorities for 2015-2016 are to:

• Raise the aspirations of young people (up to the age of 24) and their families
• Reduce the number of 16-18 NEET's
• Promote healthy pregnancy, good parenting from early years, and reducing teenage pregnancy
