About us

The Executive Board is the strategic level of the Partnership structure and brings together senior representatives of key organisations and elected representatives of our Thematic Partnerships.

It helps to shape the Sustainable Community Strategy and jointly agrees the key priorities, provides leadership and ensures effective partnership working across organisations and networks within the district.

The Terms of Reference for the Executive Board describe its purpose and structure. They also provide a basis for making future decisions and ensuring a common understanding of its role among partners.

Getting Involved

There are plenty of ways for you to get involved with the Partnership and its work; and we want you, as partner organisations, individuals, or employers, to tell us what you think about some of the biggest issues facing the district.

You can do that in the following ways:

  • Join one of the Partnership's Thematic Partnerships.  Contact the relevant Secretariat to be put onto the mailing lists.
  • Make your views count by completing consultation surveys. Ask Derbyshire is a website that helps you find out how you can have your say on matters affecting your area. You can search for consultations that interest you, and sign up to receive notifications of forthcoming consultations, and reports from those that have finished.
  • Details of current consultation opportunities submitted to the Partnership are set out below.
  • Or you can contact us at the Partnership Office if you would like to raise any concerns or highlight any successes to the wider Partnership.

Older People's Forum

Membership is free and day to day running is carried out by a band of volunteers elected by the forum at the Annual General Meeting.   Activities and information days are organised with the help of a support worker from Derbyshire County Council.More information about the Older People's Network across Derbyshire can be found on the Derbyshire County Council website.
