CVP in partnership with Public Health England East Midlands, has arranged a training and awareness raising workshop on the Making Every Contact Counts initiative. MECC encourages conversations based on behaviour change methodologies (ranging from brief advice, to more advanced behaviour change techniques), empowering healthier lifestyle choices and exploring the wider social determinants that influence all of our health.

This training will help you to: 

• Be more aware of opportunities and where you can make a difference, even in a few minutes
• Be  clearer about your role in having effective conversations that are enabling and supportive of change with the public that you meet

Places are free and are open to anyone working in Bolsover district from both the Community and Voluntary and Public sectors, particularly in a front line Health and Social Care role.
