This free one day training session, funded by the Big Lottery, is designed specifically for frontline workers and volunteers from FAAD's partner agencies who work regularly with clients accessing the benefit system or at risk of financial exclusion. By the end of the day participants will;

• have an overview of Universal Credit and the sanctions system
• have some tools and ideas to start conversations about money
• be able to support a service user to plan their budget and priorities expenditure
• have an understanding of the debt advice process, the options available
• be able to signpost locally and refer effectively
