Bolsover District Regeneration Framework - Public Consultation

Bolsover District Council have commissioned a district wide Regeneration Framework, with a focus on the four towns of Bolsover, Clowne, Shirebrook and South Normanton.

The next stage of engagement will be a series of drop-in public exhibitions in each of the four towns to present the emerging ideas. At the same time, we warmly invite residents and community representatives from each town's surrounding settlements to attend a collective focus group workshop to discuss how each core town can strengthen its relationships with its surrounding villages and hamlets.

  • Bolsover - Wednesday 13 April, The Assembly Rooms, Hilltop, Bolsover, S44 6NG
    Public Exhibition: 12.00-19.00
    Settlement Workshop: 13.00-15.00
    For all villages and hamlets surrounding Bolsover including Bramley Vale/Doe Lea, Scarcliffe, Shuttlewood, Stanfree, Palterton and Glapwell.
  • South Normanton - Thursday 14 April, The Post Mill Centre, Market Street, South Normanton, DE55 2EJ
    Public Exhibition: 12.00-19.00
    Settlement Workshop: 13.00-15.00
    For all villages and hamlets surrounding South Normanton including Pinxton, Blackwell, Hilcote, Newton, Tibshelf and Westhouses.
  • Clowne - Wednesday 20 April, Clowne Methodist Church Schoolroom, North Road, S43 4PF
    Public Exhibition: 12.00-19.00
    Settlement Workshop: 13.00-15.00
    For all villages and hamlets surrounding Clowne including Barlborough, Creswell, Whitwell and Hodthorpe.
  • Shirebrook - Thursday 21 April, The Christian Centre, 18-26 Main Street, Shirebrook, NG20 8DG
    Public Exhibition: 12.00-19.00
    Settlement Workshop: 13.00-15.00
    For all villages and hamlets surrounding Shirebrook, including Pleasley, Langwith, Whaley Thorns and New Houghton
